Women's Health Week Event


Trehab's Drug and Alcohol Prevention Department, with funding from the Office of Women's Health, is planning a special event during National Women's Health Week, to help women and girls explore topics pivotal to good health. 

The program, which will be repeated on two consecutive nights at two locations within the county, will consist of a variety of activities revolving around the topics of nutrition, physical fitness, smoking, and drugs and alcohol.  Girls in grades K-6 will be invited to participate with an adult female role model.  Activities will include physical exercise, the creation of healthy snacks, and other interactive and educational challenges. 

This event is open to all elementary aged girls in Susquehanna County.  It is currently scheduled to run on: 

May 15,  4:30-7:30 pm at Lathrop Street Elementary School in Montrose

May 16,  5:00-8:00 pm at Mountain View Elementary School in Kingsley.
